They managed to take two of three from the San Francisco Giants to wrap up their homestand, but then lost a series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, despite scoring over 20 runs in three games at Chase Field.

Starting on Friday, the Mariners will try to exact revenge against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in Southern California. The M's got swept by the Padres last week, despite San Diego having held the worst record in baseball at the time of the series.
