Adam Yauch, better known as MCA of the Beastie Boys, lost his battle with cancer on Friday at the age of 47, a terrible loss to the music and pop culture communities. And to pay tribute to the trailblazing MC, the Seattle Mariners will take the field this evening against the Minnesota Twins to a Beastie Boys song.
Per the Seattle Mariners on Twitter:
The Mariners will take the field tonight to a Beastie Boys song in remembrance of MCA. #RIPMCA

A very classy act by a very classy organization.
Speculation is already swirling as to what song the team will choose to use, but whatever one get's played over the loud speakers will certainly be a good one.
Rest in peace MCA, our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends.
