The Seattle Mariners have asked fans attending Friday night's home opener to wear white shoes. Dave Niehaus was known for his casual attire and the white shoes are meant as a tribute. So, if you have white shoes, wear them. If you don't, buy a pair, borrow a pair or paint your shoes white. I don't care how you do it, just show up to Safeco Field in your best white shoes.
