2013 NFL playoff bracket: Seahawks set to visit Atlanta on Sunday

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

The next stop on the Seahawks' roadtrip through the playoffs? How about a visit to the Georgia Dome to take on the No. 1 seeded Falcons.

The Seattle Seahawks are moving on to face the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome next Sunday at 10 a.m. PT following their 24-14 Wild-Card Round victory over the Redskins.

This will be the first meeting between these two teams in the 2012-2013 season. The Falcons were victorious the last time they played the Seahawks though, earning a 30-28 road win back in Oct. of 2011.

The Falcons have only lost once at the Georgia Dome this season but that defeat did come just two weeks ago during Atlanta's final regular season tuneup. On the flip side, the Seahawks went 3-5 on the road this season with none of those wins coming against a playoff team.

If the Seahawks are able to make it two in a row in the playoffs, they'll advance to face either the Packers or the 49ers on the road in the NFC Championship. That game will take place at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, Jan. 20.
