The Seattle Seahawks had such an impressive end to their season, one writer has adopted the team as his own heading into the playoffs.

The Seattle Seahawks have had quite a ride this season. They were an up-and-down .500 team at the beginning of the year before hitting their stride, finding an offense to match their defense and scaring the living crap out of the rest of the NFC. Along with a playoff spot, the Seahawks were also rewarded with the No. 2 spot in Joel Thorman of SB Nation's NFL power rankings, as he has officially adopted Seattle heading into the playoffs.

Thorman's team isn't in the playoffs this year, so he's decided that Seattle is his favorite team still remaining. Over the past three weeks, the Seahawks have proved to be the most entertaining team in the league in Thorman's eyes. They only trail the Denver Broncos in the power rankings, which is saying something, since that ranks the fifth-seeded Seahawks ahead of the top four seeds in the NFC (Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins).
