Seattle Seahawks tackle Russell Okung is a starter for the 2013 NFC Pro Bowl team, his agent tweeted on Wednesday.
The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl teams aren't scheduled to be announced until 7 p.m. ET Wednesday, but sports agent J.R. Rickert tweeted earlier Wednesday that his client, Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung, will be a starter for the NFC team.

Okung, the Seahawks' left tackle, has produced this season and kept rookie quarterback Russell Wilson protected enough to have his name being talked about as a rookie of the year candidate. HeraldNet.com's John Boyle compiled a list of talented pass rushers that the Seahawks have faced this year, and he writes that Okung has only allowed one sack on the season.
And in the run game, the third-year pro out of Oklahoma State has also done his job in blocking for a potential Pro Bowler in running back Marshawn Lynch.
Okung, the No. 6 overall pick from 2010, was the first draft pick of Seattle head coach Pete Carroll, and his success has come with a relatively healthy season in 2012.
