WSU Jeff Tuel chats about the "State of the Palouse" with SBN Seattle at PAC-12 Media Day

Washington State Cougars QB Jeff Tuel took some time to chat with us at PAC-12 Media Day during the lunchtime breakout session.

Tuel spoke about life as a QB in the PAC-12, playing for the quirky Mike Leach, life in Pullman and much more.

One thing of note is Tuel's message to Cougar fans. In an era when players rarely give anything but a vanilla answer, when presented with an opportunity to give a message to the fan base, Tuel offered a response that reflects the new attitude of the program under Leach, "We're going to bring a bowl game to Pullman, that's the plan. If we don't do it, that's a failure."

Also from Media Day, courtesy of the PAC-12, here is the WSU main session. As you can see, Mike Leach stole the show. You'll be happy to know that it was us here at SBN Seattle who asked him about which fellow coach would make the best hunting partner, sending the session into a Mike Leach comedy routine...except we think he was serious.
