Scott Olmos-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Oregon's starting defensive tackle, Isaac Remington, has been suspended indefinitely following an as-yet-unidentified incident on Friday morning.

The Oregon Ducks will be without the services of starting senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington for some time, as he's been suspended by coach Chip Kelly "pending clarification of an incident that occurred Friday morning in Eugene."

No. 2 Oregon is off this week, but will play next Thursday in a road game against high-scoring Arizona State.

Remington has 12 tackles on the year, ranking him fourth among Oregon's defensive linemen. The 6'4, 300-pounder also has a sack, four tackles for loss and a pair of quarterback hurries, more than matching his pressure work from his entire 2011 campaign.

He's backed on the depth chart by junior Jared Ebert, who had a tackle and a hurry in his only appearance as a Duck, which came against Arkansas State this year.
