Bowl game projections: Fiesta for Oregon, Sun for OSU and Huskies Fight Hunger

Steve Dykes

The Oregon Ducks are expected to play the Kansas State Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl after both suffered upsets, but the Ducks do have an outside chance at the Rose Bowl.

With the college football season drawing to a close, the latest bowl projections are starting to fall into place. In the Pacific Northwest, that mainly concerns the Ducks and the Beavers, though the Huskies are likely to see some action somewhere as well.

SB Nation's projections have the Oregon Ducks facing the Kansas State Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl. Oregon was on track for the BCS national title before an upset at the hands of the Stanford Cardinal. The Ducks do still have a chance at the Rose Bowl, but they would need UCLA to beat Stanford in the final week of the regular season, then beat UCLA in the Pac-12 Championship game.

The Oregon State Beavers are lined up to face the Miami Hurricanes in the Sun Bowl. The Beavers are 8-2 and third in the Pac-12, while Miami is 6-5 and second in the ACC.

The Washington Huskies are currently expected to face Navy in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. The Huskies are 7-4 and 4th in the Pac-12, while the independent Midshipmen are 7-4.
