Oregon vs. Cal 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Stephen Dunn

Oregon is on the road again this week as the Ducks will travel to California to take on the Golden Bears.

After picking up a key win on the road against then No. 17 USC, the No. 3 Oregon Ducks will go back on the road this week, taking on California.

The Ducks moved up one spot in the BCS rankings this week and will attempt to avoid a trap game against California. The Bears are just 3-7 this season, and Oregon has upcoming games against No. 14 Stanford and No. 11 Oregon State, but the Ducks must take care of business against Cal if they want to remain in the national championship hunt.

Oregon scored at least 42 points in all nine games this season, but the Ducks' offense was even better the last two weeks. Oregon leads the nation in scoring at 54.3 points per game and averaged 66.0 points per game over its last two. Oregon's rushing offense, led by Kenjon Barner, is second in the country at 341.2 yards per game. Barner rushed for 321 yards against USC, bringing his season total to 1,295 rushing yards to go along with 19 touchdowns.

The Ducks will face a Cal team which lost its last three games and was eliminated from bowl contention last week. The Bears' run defense ranks in the bottom half of the Pac-12 as Cal allowed 165.2 rushing yards per game in its first 10 games.

Oregon is riding a three-game winning streak against Cal, including a 43-15 win against the Bears last season.

Game time, TV channel: 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Online streaming video: WatchESPN

Point spread: Oregon favored by 27 points.
