Maybe the computers weren't watching the same Oregon team the rest of the nation was Thursday because the Ducks were dropped to No. 4 in the latest BCS rankings.

Obviously Oregon's 43-21 victory over ASU this past Thursday wasn't good enough for the computers as the Ducks were dropped one spot to No. 4 in the most recent BCS standings.

Kansas State, the new No. 3 team, was quite impressive in their own right Saturday with a 55-14 victory over the formerly No. 13 West Virginia Mountaineers. Then again, it's not as if the Ducks opponent last week were a bunch of chumps either (the Sun Devils clocked in at No. 24 in the USA Today poll before the humiliating defeat).

Luckily for Oregon, they'll have ample opportunities to boost up their resume with games against No. 9 USC, No. 17 Stanford and No. 7 Oregon State still on tap.

Continuing with the Beavers, OSU was able to jump up one spot from No. 8 ranking last Sunday with a not-so-flashy 21-7 victory over Utah. The other two aforementioned Pac-12 teams also saw boosts with the Trojans moving up one spot and Stanford moving up three.

The full rankings can be found here.
