The Gonzaga Bulldogs might very well make it back to the second weekend for the third year in a row. If they do, they can partially thank geography for their luck.
Gonzaga will draw Rutgers in their first matchup in the Kingston (Rhode Island) regional. If they score an upset there, they face the winner of Miami/Idaho State afterward. And they're in a great spot: Gonzaga is in a favorable spot to advance to the Sweet 16. Both of their first week matchups are in Spokane, played right in their college town arena! It can't get any more favorable for an eleven seed to get to the Sweet 16.
