Sam Houston State vs. Eastern Washington 2012: TV schedule and game preview

Eastern Washington hosts Sam Houston State in the FCS semifinals on Saturday.

The Eastern Washington Eagles will take on the Sam Houston State Bearkats this Saturday in the FCS semifinals at Roos Field.

The second-seeded Eagles are coming off a 51-35 quarterfinal victory over the Illinois State Redbirds. Quarterback Kyle Padron threw for a school record six touchdowns in the win, which was the fifth straight victory for Eastern Washington. The Eagles are 11-2 overall on the year and hold a spotless 7-0 mark at Roos Field.

Sam Houston State defeated No. 3 seed Montana State in the quarterfinals to clinch their berth in the semis. Quarterback Brian Bell threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns in the win, while running back Tim Flanders added 103 yards on the ground. The Bearkats are 10-3 on the year.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. PT and will be televised on ESPN U. The winner will face the winner of Georgia Southern vs. North Dakota in the FCS Championship Game on Jan. 5.
