The Oregon Ducks finished second overall in the final college football rankings, while the Oregon State Beavers ended up in the top 20.

The Oregon Ducks didn't get the national championship they desired, but they ended up finishing right behind the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Oregon finished in second place in both the AP and the Coaches poll after outpacking Kansas State in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. It's their highest final ranking in the BCS era; the Ducks finished third after losing the national championship to Auburn in 2011 and fourth after winning the Rose Bowl against Wisconsin last season. Only a loss to Stanford in the regular season prevented the Ducks from playing for a national championship.

The Oregon St. Beavers didn't finish off their season on the right foot after a close loss to the Texas Longhorns in the Alamo Bowl, but it was still a solid leap up from a dismal 2011 campaign.

Oregon State finished 9-4 and ended up 20th in the AP Top 25 and 19th in the USA Today Poll. Oregon State had big victories over Wisconsin, UCLA and Arizona before dropping games to Washington, Stanford and Oregon to spoil their Pac-12 championship bid.
