Seahawks vs. Rams halftime score update: Fake field goal gives Rams 13-7 lead

After the Seattle Seahawks took the 7-3 lead in the first quarter against the St. Louis Rams, head coach Jeff Fisher pulled a trick play out of his hat, while his defense tightened up to give his Rams a 13-7 lead at the half at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Seattle began the second quarter with a punt but intercepted a Sam Bradford pass on the very next possession to get the ball back. They couldn't get any points on the board as they would punt after a four-and-out, followed by another pair of punts from St. Louis and Seattle.

Russell Wilson tossed his first interception of the game on the next possession, leading to a 12-play, 52-yard drive from the Rams that concluded with a fake field goal pass from punter/holder John Hekker to a wide open Danny Amendola for the touchdown, giving St. Louis the 10-7 lead.

Seattle forced another Seattle punt, which lead to a four-play, 16-yard drive that ended with a 48-yard Greg Zuerlein field goal to give St. Louis the 13-7 lead at halftime.

Russell Wilson completed 8-of-11 of his passes for 85 yards and an interception in the first half, while Sam Bradford ended the half 10-of-17 for 146 yards and an interception as well. Marshawn Lynch has the lone touchdown for Seattle on 10 carries for 62 yards.
