Seahawks vs. Rams 1st quarter score update: Seattle leads 7-3

The Seattle Seahawks hit the road Sunday to take on the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome and got off to a fast start with a 7-3 lead after the first quarter.

The Seahawks made the most of their first possession of the game, taking the opening drive down the field for an eight-play, 80-yard drive capped off by an 18-yard Marshawn Lynch run to give Seattle the 7-0 lead.

The Rams came right back with a scoring drive of their own, having to settle for a 58-yard field goal from Greg Zuerlein after a 10-play, 40-yard drive.

Russell Wilson finished the first quarter 5-5 for 55 yards, while Lynch finished the period seven rushes for 35 yards and a touchdown. As for the Rams, quarterback was Sam Bradford 5-6 for 82 yards, while Steven Jackson carried the ball five times for 33 yards, with a 23-yard scamper as well.
