Tacoma-native Ryan Moore concluded the 2012 PGA Tour season on a high note Sunday, with his third-place finish at the Tour Championship propelling him up 17 spots to 11th place in the final FedEx Cup Standings.

Moore completed the tournament at 6-under, four behind FedEx Cup champion Brandt Snedeker. Moore had a legitimate chance at winning the tournament with a round of 3-under heading into the final three holes Sunday. Instead, he proceeded to bogey three straight to finish tied with Luke Donald after producing an even round.

Moore may not have won any PGA Tour events, but he did finis in the top 10 in seven of the 23 events he participated in. He's currently ranked 63 in the Official World Golf Ranking after earning $2,048,944 in prize money this season.

Snedeker, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Nick Watney and Phil Mickelson round of the top-five FedEx Cup finishers in that order.
