The Oregon Ducks are opening as huge favorites over the Arizona Wildcats.
The Oregon Ducks get ready to kick off the defense of their Pac-12 Championship against the Arizona Wildcats. Oregon breezed through non-conference play, beating up Arkansas State, Fresno State and Tennessee Tech in three weeks. Now they get ready to battle in one of the most competitive conferences in the Pac-12.
They start with one of the toughest offenses in the Pac-12, as Chip Kelly meets Rich Rodriguez in Eugene when Oregon faces Arizona. Arizona is also 3-0 to start 2012, with a huge upset over Oklahoma State and victories over Toledo and South Carolina State. This will be the lone meetings of unbeaten teams from the Pac-12 slate.
Everyone still believes in Oregon while the jury is apparently out on Arizona. The Ducks are huge favorites, opening up as 26.5 point favorites. The line has fallen to 23.5 to 24 points depending on which sportsbook you look at.
