Brockman played four years at UW and now plays with the Houston Rockets.
Jon Brockman earned a reputation with the Washington Huskies for being a hard-nosed player who would do anything to help his team win. Since coming into the NBA, Brockman has continued to display these traits and has carved out a nice role for himself as a sixth or seventh man off the bench. On Thursday, he suffered a scary eye injury.
According to reports out of Seattle, Brockman was hit in the eye area with a resistance band. Apparently he was working out and the band snapped, hitting him in the face with recoil. He has since been taken for evaluations and doctors are unsure of what the next step is due to swelling and bleeding complications.

Doctors will continue to evaluate and treat Brockman any way they can, although their options seem to be limited as of right now. We can only hope his vision will return back to normal in the coming weeks.
