Washington State Cougars starting quarterback Jeff Tuel was interviewed by SB Nation at Pac-12 Media Day.

Jeff Tuel probably has the cushiest job in all of college football this season. He gets to help spark the Washington State offense as Mike Leach's quarterback. Tuel has a lot of promise but has always gotten injured behind a porous WSU offensive line that struggled to give him the time of day. Tuel should get more daylight this season in the quick-passing system that Leach has popularized over the last decade.

SB Nation's own Dan Rubenstein caught up with Tuel at Pac-12 Media Day and managed to touch on a few critical subjects. Tuel talks about the changes in transitioning from Paul Wulff to Leach's offense. Tuel will also be working within the pass-heavy Airraid that'll demand the most out of his arm and he talked about these new schemes. Tuel also talks about trying to connect with his new wide receivers, like dynamo number one option Marquess Wilson.
