London Olympics 2012: Team USA Cruises To Gold Medal In Women's Basketball Gold Medal Game

Team USA added another gold medal to the medal count, dominating France in the women's basketball final. It is the fifth straight gold medal for the team, who outplayed France in every measure of the game en route to an 86-50 victory. They shot 48% to France's 30%, took the ball away 21 times while giving it up only 11 and moved the ball significantly better, racking up 22 assists to France's 12.

Candace Parker led the scoring for the U.S., shooting 10-for-14 for 21 points. The Seattle Storm's Sue Bird was representing the Pacific Northwest in the event, she played 24 minutes and collected 11 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.
