2012 PGA Championship: Tee Times And Pairings For Saturday Delayed Due To Joost Luiten

Stay connected for news and updates

Joost Luiten was not near the top of the leaderboard at the end of play on Friday. Still, the 2012 PGA Championship will be waiting at his beck and call for a little while longer, at least.

Luiten had shot a 5-over on Friday and plummeted in the standings. He opted not to play his 18th hole and cited darkness as the reason. He will have to wrap things up on Saturday and then begin his third rounds.

What this means is that the tee times for Saturday's scheduled third round in South Carolina cannot -- and will not -- be released until all golfers finish their second round. "All golfers" in this case, of course, meaning "Joost Luiten." The golfer will likely not win many friends with this move.

Luiten will return to play his 18th hole at 4:30 a.m. PT. The tee times for the full third round on Saturday will be released about an hour later.

You can check out the complete leaderboard here.
