With most of the leaders still waiting to tee off, players in the early wave of the second round at Kiawah Island were looking to make up some ground. A pair of former Wanamaker winners are making a charge at the PGA Championship, setting themselves up nicely for the weekend.

Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson are having nice rounds at the Ocean Course on Friday, with Vijay firing a 3-under 69 to move two back of the leader at 4-under for the week. Mickelson is currently 2-under on his round, currently playing the 16th hole.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are both looking for another solid round, each just getting their day started. As is leader Carl Petterson, who is hoping to hang on to the lead heading into Saturday.
