Olympic Games 2012 Recap: U.S. Adds 6 More Medals; Marti Malloy Takes Bronze in Judo

Oak Harbor, Washington now has an Olympian it can add to its Wikipedia Page. Marti Malloy took bronze in the judo in the 57-kilogram division. Malloy came into the Olympics ranked 11th in the world.

The U.S. picked up four more medals for its swimming team - two golds and two silvers. Missy Franklin, the 17-year-old from Colorado, won the first gold medal of her young career in the 100-meter backstroke. Matt Grevers set an Olympic record time of 52.16 seconds in the 100-meter backstroke. It was his third career gold medal and fifth medal overall.

It wasn't all sunshine and smiles for the Olympic Swimming team however. Ryan Lochte once again failed to medal in his event after winning the gold medal for his first race in the 400-meter individual medley.
