U.S. Equestrian Adrienne Lyle is one of the youngest dressage competitors and will be taking her small town dreams to London.

Sometimes the beauty of the Olympics is that everyone seems to have a chance. There are such a horde of sports that the average person has no idea what it is, but that someone else halfway across the globe takes ever so seriously.

Dressage - probably to a certain degree - might qualify as one of those sports. The sport is considered the highest order of equestrian sports, and Adrienne Lyle will be one of the youngest dressage competitors at the Olympics.

Lyle is from Ketchum, Idaho, a small town in central Idaho. She got interested in horseback riding at a young age riding on trails. She will be taking a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding named Wizard along with her to London.

The duo trained under the watchful eye of U.S. Olympic dressage icon Debbie McDonald at the River Grove Farm in Hailey, Idaho. The hardwork paid off as the duo earned a spot on the individual dressage team during the U.S. Equestrian Freedom Dressage Olympic Trials in June.

"Adrienne is an inspirational rider and a true American athlete," said Heidi Zorn, president of Premier Equestrian, a company that sponsors Lyle. "We are proud to be supporting Adrienne and Wizard as they exemplify the talent, perseverance, and sheer dedication that our country has been built on. We know Adrienne and Wizard will represent our country well in London."
