The Oregon Ducks escaped the jaws of defeat in their opening game of the 2012 College World Series, pulling out a 6-5 victory over Austin Peay in the Eugene Regional. Cal State Fullerton was also victorious on Friday, knocking off Indiana State by a score of 9-5.

The four teams will continue play on Saturday afternoon. Here is the schedule for today from Oregon:

Game Three: Indiana St. vs. Austin Peay, 2 p.m.

Game Four: Oregon vs. Cal State Fullerton, 6 p.m.

The Oregon State Beavers were also victorious in their first game, defeating the Belmont Bruins by a score of 2-1. The Beavers will now face the No. 1 seed LSU Tigers, who knocked off Louisiana-Monroe in their opening contest.

Here is the schedule for Saturday from Baton Rouge.

Game Three: Belmont vs. Louisiana-Monroe, Noon

Game Four: Oregon State vs. LSU, 5 p.m.
