The running of the 2012 Kentucky Derby is just hours away. The field, led by favorites Bodemeister (7/1 odds) and Union Rags (5/1) promises to provide a thrilling race this afternoon. Here is a complete schedule for the day, including the post positions, TV coverage and more.

Start Time: The race is set for 6:24 p.m. ET, although there will be plenty of pre-race coverage televised all day. That's 3:24 on the west coast.

TV Schedule: NBC has the live telecast and will also provide pre-race analysis and post-race reaction. NBC Sports Network will also recap the race once it is complete.
