2012 Masters Earnings: Fred Couples Wins $156,800 Prize, Ben Crane $124,000

Bubba Watson didn't just win the 2012 Masters and a fancy green jacket, but also got a massive payout for his efforts. The Masters was giving out an $8 million purse, and Watson earned $1.44 million overall as the first-place winner. Louis Oosthuizen finished with $864,000 as the runner-up, and Phil Mickelson was among a host of golfers tied at third, earning $384,000.

  • Fred Couples finished in a tie for 12th, earning $156.8K overall.
  • Ben Crane finished in a tie for 17th, grabbing $124K on his own.
  • Kyle Stanley missed the cut when his first two rounds netted a total of 151. He does not receive any earnings for missing the cut.
