The Masters 2012: Watch Louis Oosthuizen Sink Second Double Eagle In Masters History [VIDEO]

Bo Van Pelt hit a hole-in-one at the Par 3 16th earlier in the day on Sunday at the Masters en route to the week's best score after an 8-under 64.

But South African Louis Oosthuizen just had to top him, dropping the second ever double-eagle (albatross) at the par-5 second hole to vault himself atop the leaderboard at the 2012 Masters, now just trying to hang on for his first Green Jacket.

Make the jump to see the historic shot yourself.

The only other albatross ever in Masters history was hit by Gene Sarazen in 1935 on the par-5 15th, en route to his lone Masters victory of his career.

Oosthuizen uses the slope of the green perfectly on his 260 yard long-iron second shot, watching it slowly creep into the hole to make Masters history. Not only that, Ossthuizen in the heat of the moment tosses the now historic golf ball casually to a fan, and gives a stirring high five to his caddy.

What an incredible day it's already been at Augusta National, and the leaders are only getting started.
