The Mariners already had 'opening day,' but finished their Cactus League schedule with a 7-2 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.

As the Seattle Mariners get ready for their second 'opening day' of the season, they still had one more Cactus League game on the docket before they could hang them up. And behind a stellar outing from Hector Noesi, the Mariners took down the Colorado Rockies by the score of 7-2 at Salt River Fields in Talking Stick.

Noesi allowed only one run on seven hits in his seven innings of work, likely solidifying his role as the No. 3 starter after his longest outing of the spring, striking out three while walking none.

Colorado starter Jhoulys Chacin gave up only a first-inning single to Ichiro Suzuki until Seattle broke it open in the fourth with a seven hit, five run inning off of him. John Jaso finished with three hits including a two-run double, while Chone Figgins added and RBI triple during the fourth inning rally as well, finishing the game with three RBI.
