Quick could turn into a solid no. 2 wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams.
With the 33rd overall pick of the 2nd round in the 2012 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams have selected Brian Quick, a wide receiver from Appalachian State. Even though he didn't see a lot of press coverage in college, he has the size to get off the line of scrimmage at the next level. He doesn't have elite speed so getting separation against NFL corners could be an issue down the road. He is the highest drafted player to ever come out of App State. Here is more on Quick from Sports Illustrated.
Quick possesses the body type and skill to play at the next level. More of an underneath receiver, he has the underlying ability to eventually develop into a second wide out on a roster.
The Rams' next pick is the first selection of the 2nd round, 39th overall. Head over to NFL.com to track every pick as the Draft moves on.
