NFL Draft 2012: Senio Kelemete, Scouting Report And Potential Landing Spots

Chris Polk and Alameda Ta'amu are the two names receiving the most notice among Husky fans heading into this month's NFL Draft. Another name of interest for Husky fans should be senior Senio Kelemete, who is projected to be picked in the mid-rounds of the draft.

The Seattle-native and offensive tackle prospect started all 13 games for the Huskies this past season and was named second-team All-Pac-12. Rob Rang from NFLDraftscout.com lists Kelemete's balance, quick feet and power as his strengths after Kelemete's workout with the Seattle Seahawks in early March.

Kelemete, originally a defensive tackle, switched to the offensive line after his freshman season. For teams seeking a potential starter at guard, Kelemete might be a solid option, as he is ranked in the top ten at his position according to some draft experts.

NFL Mocks on the Fansided network thinks Kelemete might be a good fit with the Seahawks:

Another one I'm sticking with. Kelemete played LT at Washington, but projects better as a guard at the next level. Could start as a rookie at LG next to Russell Okung, but his versatility to play tackle could be useful as well.

Along with the Seahawks, another possible destination for Kelemete is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings currently have three picks in round four of the draft, and could be targeting Kelemete.
