NIT Tournament 2012 Schedule And Bracket: Washington And Stanford Arrive In New York

The NIT semifinals is set with four teams playing on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden for a chance to play in the tournament's championship game on Thursday. Washington advanced to the semifinals after beating Pac-12 rival Oregon in the quarterfinals last Tuesday.

The No. 5 seeded UMass Minutemen also advanced on Tuesday to the quarterfinals after squeaking out a 72-70 victory over Drexel. Last Wednesday, the Minnesota Golden Gophers beat Middle Tennessee and the Stanford Cardinal beat Nevada to advance to the semifinals.

If Washington and Stanford both win their semifinal games the NIT championship game will be an all Pac-12 affair.

Here's the schedule for Tuesday night's games (designated home teams are in bold):

No. 5 UMass vs. No. 3 Stanford - March 26, 4:00 pm PT

No. 1 Washington vs. No. 6 Minnesota - March 26, 6:00 pm PT

All games will be nationally televised on ESPN2 and streamed online at ESPN3.com.
