The Gonzaga Bulldogs have got their dancing shoes on once again, looking to make a deep run in the 2012 NCAA Tournament this year. But standing in their way is Bob Huggins and his West Virginia Mountaineers, who have their eyes on some Final Four glory as well.
The Zags enter their 14th straight NCAA tournament berth with high hopes after getting an at-large bid with the loss to St. Mary's in the WCC Championship. Nevertheless, Gonzaga is poised to make another run even though their opponent are playing essentially a home game so close to West Virginia.
The Mountaineers earned themselves a No. 10 seed in the East bracket, entering their seventh NCAA Tournament in the last eight years after making the 2010 Final Four. They closed out their season with only four wins in their last 12 matchups after earning an at-large bid, finishing the regular season with a 19-13 overall mark and 9-9 record in the Big East.
