There was some unusual buzz about Thursday night's pre-game national anthem performance before the Washington-UCLA basketball game. An 11-year old boy named Caspian Coberly played the National Anthem on his electric guitar before Thursday's tipoff at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Coberly is no stranger to the spotlight as he performed the National Anthem earlier at the Key Arena before Gonzaga's game against Arizona in the "Battle in Seattle." You can see Coberly's official Facebook page here.
Here is some of the Twitter reaction:

The Washington Huskies lead the UCLA Bruins 35-34 at the end of the first half in Thursday's game at Alaska Airlines Arena. Despite the one-point lead, the Huskies have struggled to get in an offensive rhythm. The team only has three assists on 15 made field-goals. They also turned the ball over ten times, giving the Bruins more offensive opportunities.
Washington has shown an inability to defend UCLA's post players. UCLA has gotten most of its offense from its front court, with David Wear, Travis Wear and Josh Smith accounting for 28 of the team's 34 points. Smith has 14 points and is 5-for-6 from the field.
Terrence Ross finished the first half with only four points. Huskies head coach Lorenzo Romar will need his starting shooting guard to produce more in the second half.

Terrence Ross' Hot Second Half Leads Washington Past UCLA
When he's hot, he's hot.
Terrence Ross scored ten points in the game's final five minutes to help the Washington Huskies beat the UCLA Bruins 71-69 in Thursday's night game at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The sophomore shooting guard scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half. Down 65-55 with 6:02 left in the game, the Huskies (15-7, 8-2 Pac-12) went on a 13-0 run capped off by a Darnell Gant dunk.
Ross' three-pointer at the 1:24 mark gave Washington a 71-67 lead. However, UCLA's (12-10, 5-5) Josh Smith answered on the other end with a layup of s own. The Bruins ended up with the ball with 30 seconds left, but Norman Powell missed a baseline jumper with two seconds left that gave Washington its tenth Pac-12 victory.
UCLA's Josh Smith could not be contained by the Huskies' defense. The Washington-native scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his team's losing effort.
The Huskies' leading scorer, Tony Wroten, was not on the court during the team's second-half comeback. Wroten finished the game with 13 points and five of the team's 16 turnovers.
Washington will host USC this Saturday at 8 p.m.
