The Huskies travel to Oregon State Sunday to try to bounce back from a tough loss at the Oregon Ducks on Thursday, and will hope to grab a piece of first place in the Pac-12. Follow the game with live updates, right here.
Despite shooting 34.3 percent from the field, the Washington Huskies are tied with the Oregon State Beavers 31-31 at the end of the first half in Sunday afternoon's game at Gill Coliseum.
Oregon State's guard Jared Cunningham and forward Devon Collier lead the Beavers with nine points each. Cunningham came out of the game with under two minutes left after taking an elbow to the face from Huskies center Aziz N'Diaye.
Washington has struggled to get into any offensive rhythm. The Huskies main offensive weapon is struggling, Tony Wroten has seven points on 2-for-9 from the field with two turnovers. The Huskies look to shake off a brutal 82-57 defeat at the hands of the Oregon Ducks on Thursday and are taking the time-tested approach to a bad loss - by flushing that memory down the toilet. The team would normally break down tape and point out mistakes and missed opportunities, but not this week.
Said Husky coach Lorenzo Romar, earlier this week, "It's over. Let's move on. We got to move on. At this point we have to make sure our guys understand we're tied for first place with six games to go. This game didn't mean that we're in last place. The sky is not falling. We're still tied for first place. Let's move on and finish the right way. That's what we're trying to get across to our team."
