Lions HC Jim Schwartz talks about his team's struggles

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz joined Karsch and Anderson on WXYT in Detroit to break down what he can do to get his team back on track after a disappointing 2-4 start.

Schwartz shared that it's important for his team not to overreact at this point and be resilient:

"People in the NFL don't think that way. We're six games into the season; it's a 16-game season. You don't have to look past the Giants last year, they were 7-7 with two games to play. The year before that, Green Bay was 7-7. We know what happened at the end of the season for those guys...You've got to put losses behind you; you've got to put wins behind you."

The Seattle Seahawks are hoping that they force Schwartz and company to continue to dwell on the negatives this weekend though by handing them another defeat. And the Seahawks, too, have a lot to prove as the team has only won one road game all season (16-12 against Carolina).

The game will be early for those on the West Coast with a 1 p.m. ET start time. Fans of some defensive football will want to make sure to be up for that opening kickoff, too, with how sloppily the Lions have started games on offense this season. QB Matthew Stafford averages only 4.32 yards per attempt in the first quarter this season with a 50.9 completion percentage and two interceptions.
