The Seattle Seahawks were without Max Unger during Wednesday's practice, as the team's starting center sat out with a hip injury, reporter Curtis Crabtree said. The team will also be without guard John Moffitt, who sat out with a knee injury, and defensive linemen Clinton McDonald.
Unger is assuredly the most important injury of note. He's been the leader for the Seattle run attack that is seventh in the NFL.
#Seahawks best offensive player vs. CAR was C Max Unger. Fantastic in run game at LOS and 2nd level.

Moffitt's absence only compounds the issue for a team that will need offensive production, with the high-scoring New England Patriots rolling into CenturyLink Field this week.
On the defensive side of the ball, McDonald's groin injures hurts the depth of the interior line facing the Patriots' surprisingly successful run game. The Pats rank third in the NFL with 165 yards per game on the ground. McDonald has nine tackles on the year.
