Washington Vs. Arizona: Tony Wroten And Huskies Down Wildcats, 69-67

Washington beat Arizona 69-67 in a fiercely contested Pac-12 conference matchup on Saturday evening at the McKale Center in Tucson.

ESPN's nationally-televised game came down to the final seconds, with the Huskies holding off a late Arizona run. Huskies freshman Tony Wroten made a game-winning block in the game's final seconds to secure a Washington victory. The Huskies led by nine points with 2:35 left in the game, but Arizona slowly chipped away at the lead, eventually tying the game at 67-67 after a Solomon Hill three-pointer.

Washington inbounded the ball after Hill's basket and drew a blocking foul from Wildcats freshman Josiah Turner — sending C.J. Wilcox to the free-throw line. After Wilcox's made free-throws, Arizona's Josiah Turner's layup was blocked by Wroten at the :02 mark, preventing the game from going into overtime.

The Wildcats' offense benefited from its 21-for-29 performance at the free-throw line, and also the play of Hill. The junior forward tallied 28 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort. Washington had four players in double-figures, led by Wroten's 17 points.
