With the Oregon Ducks trailing the Wisconsin Badgers 21-14, Chip Kelly went right back to the playbook and put in another new wrinkle. Kenjon Barner looked like he had come in to lead block for the Oregon running attack. As he started to pull upfield he leaked out into open territory and the Wisconsin defenders totally lost their contain on him. Darron Thomas waited for Barner to leak out, then went right to him on the wheel route.
It was another nice variant on the spread run offense Kelly loves to run, and it helped tie things up in the Rose Bowl (for a few minutes or so).
Oregon and Wisconsin keeps on exchanging points. He who scores last might be the winner in this contest, as no defense has proven they can really stop the other.
