Washington Vs. Washington St. Score: Cougs Lead At Halftime, 31-25

Ken Bone's Washington St. Cougars are currently beating the Washington Huskies on the road after one half of play. Despite seven turnovers, the Cougars are playing confident and knocking down shots. Forward Brock Motum is leading the Cougars with 13 points on 5-for-5 shooting. If Washington St. can get a scoreless Reggie Moore going on offense, they could run away with this game.

Washington is without shooting guard C.J Wilcox and is struggling to produce offense without their second-leading scorer. The Huskies seem out-of-sync on offense with a handful of players taking tough, contested shots instead of the team working together to get open shots.

The Cougars' 2-3 zone will be a topic of conversation during half-time in the Huskies' locker room. At one point the Huskies had missed seven shots in a row in a span of two-and-a-half minutes. The Cougars are also sagging off of Tony Wroten, daring him to shoot jumpshots — Wroten is a below-average jump-shooter but is hard to stop when he penetrates. The freshman guard is leading the Huskies with 7 points but is 2-for-8 from the field.
