Lache Seastrunk May Be Transferring From Oregon To Baylor, According To Report

According to a report on Saturday morning, Lache Seastrunk is preparing to transfer from Oregon to Baylor.

The saga of Lache Seastrunk, a highly-touted running back out of Texas who ended up at Oregon, has been a whirlwind, and now may be coming to an end for the Ducks. According to a report on Saturday morning, Seastrunk is rumored to be preparing his transfer papers in an effort to return to Texas and play at Baylor. If the rumors are true, Seastrunk would have to sit out another year -- he redshirted this past season -- and would have three to play three.

The report comes from David Smoak, a sports radio director in Texas.

Sources have told me Lache Seastrunk is filing paperwork today asking for a transfer from Oregon. Destination, I've been told, Baylor.

Seastrunk's story is well-known at this point, and could come back to bite Oregon in the future. Seastrunk allegedly had a relationship with Willie Lyles, the man at the center of a Yahoo! report alleging the Ducks committed recruiting violations. Oregon paid Lyles to provide a scouting service -- which we later found out was filled with outdated and irrelevant information -- and his relationship with Seastrunk may be seen as improper in the eyes of the NCAA.

We'll be back as more becomes available, likely after the Ducks wrap-up practice for the day and speak to the media. For more on Seastrunk and the Oregon football program, head over to Addicted to Quack.
