With the USC Trojans and Oregon State Beavers the only two regular season games remaining on their schedule, as well as whoever wins the Pac-12 South, this weekend's matchup with the Trojans may very well be the biggest game remaining for the Ducks.
USC features a high-flying offense that can score with any team in the nation, though their defense has struggled mightily at times in 2011. Similar to Oregon, with the team ineligible for postseason play, this is the biggest game of the year for Lane Kiffin's program. A win on the road would be a huge momentum builder as they prepare for the offseason.
For Oregon, they just need to keep doing what works best for them. No one in the Pac-12 has figured out a way to slow down their dynamic running game and the UO defense has stepped up when called upon. With the home crowd on their side, the Ducks should be able to come away with a win.
Expect a great game at Autzen Stadium this Saturday evening.
