Keith Price Injury: Washington QB Out With Injured Left Knee

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Huskies and USC Trojans are in the midst of a wild third quarter in Los Angeles. Nick Montana has come in to replace Keith Price with eight minutes left in the third quarter. According to Ryan Divish, Price has injured his left knee.

Price has been harassed on the field all day by the USC defensive front line. The Trojans recorded five sacks on Price through his two-and-a-half quarters of action, including one in the endzone for a second-quarter safety.

Price has taken hits to both his left and right knees, and the cumulative effect of several sacks seems to have worn him down over the course of the game. The last sack on Price roughly midway through the third quarter injured Price's left knee and caused him to leave the game. Price will not return.

Montana will close out the game for the Huskies. He will need to get things going in the passing game if Washington hopes to climb out of a 37-10 deficit.
