Seahawks Vs. Bengals Injury Update: Tarvaris Jackson Preparing To Play

Although he is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is looking likely to see some playing time, according to Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times.

O'Neil says that Jackson had a thorough workout on Friday, including the most extensive throwing he has done since suffering his pectoral injury in early October. Jackson said that Friday's workout was important for the coaches to see, as a means of proving to them that he can still make the throws that he needs to. Head coach Pete Carroll noted that Jackson was throwing the ball well and took it as a good sign.

The Seahawks injury report lists only Jackson as questionable, and lists safeties Atari Bigby, Kam Chancellor and Jeron Johnson, running back Marshawn Lynch, tight end Zach Miller and center Max Unger as probable, so there is a good chance that all of them will see significant playing time. After their poor showing against the Cleveland Browns last week, it's heartening to know that the Seahawks are looking to return to full strength.
