The Oregon St. Beavers and the Washington St. Cougars don't seem to really think much about defensive stops. There's been only one punt between the two teams as both teams have combined for 38 first half points.
After a 7-7 tie through one quarter, Beavers QB Sean Mannion found Brandin Cooks on a 38 yard gain and then a 12 yard touchdown connection to put Oregon State up 14-7. On the subsequent drive, WSU QB Jeff Tuel connected with Marquess Wilson for 48 yards to set up a short Tuel touchdown rush to tie things up at 14. Then some Malcolm Agnew and Markus Wheaton rushes for Oregon State set up a Mannion connection to Wheaton for 21 yards (aided by a personal foul penalty), setting up an Agnew touchdown rush. Tuel was then sacked by Scott Crichton, losing the football to Dylan Wynn, which allowed the Beavers to score a field goal to make it 24-14 at halftime.
