Oregon Ducks quarterback, who has been the star of the first half against the ASU Sun Devils, has left the Pac-12 showdown with a lower leg injury, which commentators are calling an apparent knee injury.
Darron Thomas sprinted off the field and was looked at on the trainer's table in the third quarter after being rolled up on awkwardly. A short time later he jogged to the locker room, noticeably limping.
Thomas had thrown for over 180 passing yards with two touchdowns. Thomas was the key offensive weapon for the ducks through the first half of the game. Backup quarterback Bryan Bennett is currently in for the Ducks, and has just led the Ducks to a touchdown in the third quarter. All indications are that Thomas will not return this evening. No other details on Thomas' injury are available at the moment but we will keep you updated.
