Excitement in Baltimore during the MLS SuperDraft! Seattle Sounders trade #11 pick and an international roster spot to Portland in return for second pick in second round (#20 overall) and allocation amount.
Well this throws things for a bit of a loop. Most followers were set to welcome a new Sounder with pick 11. People were thinking A.J. Soares (who just got swiped by New England Revolution), Zac MacMath (keeper taken by Philly), Anthony Ampaipitakwong, or even Omar Salgado, the first choice of the draft.
Here's what's happened with the first seven picks. Check back later when we bring you Seattle's picks in the second round, where they now have four choices.
7) Houston Dynamo: Kofi Sarkodie
6) New England Revolution: A.J. Soares
5) Philadelphia Union: Zac MacMath
4) Chivas USA: Zarek Valentin
3) DC United: Perry Kitchen
2) Portland Timbers: Darlington Nagbe
1) Vancouver Whitecaps: Omar Salgado
