Hikeem Stewart: From UW Recruit To UW Recruiter

As we noted earlier, Rainer Beach High School basketball prospect Hikeem Stewart has verbally committed to the University of Washington.

Percy Allen of the Seattle Times reports that Stewart will serve as a major advocate for the UW program.

(Who else may join this 2011 class?) “I heard Angelo Chol is one of the top centers in my class. I’m going to try to get Tone and Jabari Brown. If we get those guys, it would be real nice.”

“Tone”, of course, is the state of Washington’s best high school basketball prospect, Tony Wroten Jr. Stewart tells Allen that Wroten is considering Washington, Kentucky and Villanova.
