Clayton: Houshmandzadeh Move Likely Means Julius Jones Will Be Cut

Seahawks running back Julius Jones may be cut in order to save money after the Seahawks trade or release receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh. On the 710 ESPN's Kevin Calabro Show, John Clayton reported that the Seahawks will need to free up money somehow, and Jones is a likely to be cut because of it.

John Clayton says that paying $7 million dollars for no Housh, means the Seahawks will try to move some money, and will cut Julius Jonesless than a minute ago via web

So the Seahawks roster purge continues as we head towards Saturday's 53-man roster deadline. At this point, it feels like none of the Seahawks are safe from the Carrol and Schneider rampage.
